Strek Collective

Coup de coeur du jour: Strek Collective, une coopérative créative fondée par quatre jeunes designers norvégiens avec la volonté "d'explorer l'inconnu et améliorer le connu". Superbe!
Strek Collective va aussi exposer à Paris Design Week du 10-16 septembre :)

Today's crush: Strek, a creative collective founded by four young Norwegian designers with a dedicated approach to "exploring the unknown and improving the known". Beautiful!
Strek Collective will also be exhibiting at Paris Design Week on Sept 10-16 :)

Le style scandinave à petits prix

Je suis tombée sur ces images sur FB l'autre jour... Après un séjour inspirant de deux ans à Oslo, Tyra Ballantine, rédactrice mode et cuisine au magazine canadien Style at home, a décidé de se lancer le défi du "style scandinave à petits prix" chez elle. Plein de bonnes idées à piquer! Bien évidemment, les chaises Wegner ne sont pas pour les budgets serrés, mais quand le reste du mobilier est à petits prix, on a peut-être aussi les moyens de s'offrir quelques pièces design?

I ran into these pictures on FB the other day... Tyra Ballantine, style and food editor for Canadian magazine Style at home, decided to take on the "Scandinavian style on a budget" challenge at home after an inspiring two year stint in Oslo. Lots of nice ideas to steal! Obviously the Wegner chairs aren't for the tight budget, but when the rest of the furniture is low price you might also be able to afford some designer pieces?

Formex - The Odd Nest

The Odd Nest était le nom du coin café/restaurant/scène qui avait été créé par Oddbirds pour Formex. Une cuisine rustique et cosy, des légumes du marché et des fleurs du jardin, des couleurs chaleureuses... Très réussi et parfaitement en accord avec les tendances du moment.

The Odd Nest was the name of the café/restaurant/scene corner created by Oddbirds for Formex. A rustic and cosy kitchen, vegetables from the market and flowers from the garden, warm colours... Very nice and completely in line with current trends.
