Lotta Agaton for Herman Miller

Swedish super stylist Lotta Agaton (also my former teacher at the styling class I took at Beckmans Akademi last year) was in the US earlier this year together with a big team to shoot pictures for iconic furniture manufacturer Herman Miller. La super styliste suédoise Lotta Agaton (aussi ma formatrice au stage de stylisme que j'ai suivi l'année dernière à Beckmans Akademi) était aux Etats-Unis plus tôt cette année pour réaliser des photos pour Herman Miller, fabricant de mobilier iconique. Aujourd'hui j'ai un coup de foudre pour cette maison fabuleuse dans le sud de la Suède! J'adore la palette de fond en noir&blanc, les vitrines anciennes en bois, le carrelage blanc, les photos d'art, le hamac, la peinture blanche coulante sur le mur noir, le moodboard du bureau, et les plantes vertes qui donnent vie à l'ensemble.

Today I'm in love with this fabulous house in southern Sweden! I love the black&white backdrop, the old wooden cabinets, the white tiles, the photo art, the hammock, the dripping white paint on the black wall, the work space moodbard, and the green plants that add life to it all.

Voilà enfin les photos que notre groupe a réalisé dimanche dernier dans le cadre de la formation de stylisme avec Lotta Agaton à Beckmans Akademi à Stockholm. Notre tâche était de mettre en scène la toute nouvelle collection de cartes de Therese Sennerholt :) On avait aussi la chance de pouvoir travailler dans les Delight Studios, une ancienne usine convertie en studio photo - fabuleux!

Here comes finally the photos that our group of students created last Sunday during the styling classes with Lotta Agaton at Beckmans Akademi in Stockholm. Our task was to style the brand new collection of cards from Therese Sennerholt :) We were also very lucky to be able to work in the Delight Studios, a former factory converted into photo studio - fabulous!

Ma formation avec Lotta Agaton

Je suis de retour à Paris après deux weekends extrêmement inspirants à la formation stylisme de Lotta Agaton à Beckmans Akademi, Stockholm! Hier nous avons eu le privilège de mettre en scène la nouvelle collection de cartes de Therese Sennerholt dans le magnifique Delight Studios. Je n'ai pas le droit de vous montrer ces photos-là avant mercredi, alors en attendant, voici quelques photos de nature morte que j'ai créées la semaine dernière dans le cadre de notre formation.

I'm back in Paris after two extremely inspiring weekends participating in Lotta Agaton's styling class at Beckmans Akademi, Stockholm! Yesterday, we had the privilege of styling Therese Sennerholt's new collection of cards in the stunning Delight Studios. I'm not allowed to show you those photos before Wednesday, so meanwhile here are some still life photos that I created last week as a step in our training.

The photo from the 50's is called "Passing through", so I tried to build further on that theme and time period...

Et pour celle-ci, des nuances subtiles de vert en partant de ce grand vase, un prototype de l'artiste du verre Erika Höglund. Le vase à droite vient de ma boutique en ligne.

And for this one subtle shades of green, starting with this large vase, a prototype by glass artist Erika Höglund. The vase to the right comes from my webshop.

Lotta Agaton styling class!

Je vous avais dit il y a quelque temps qu'un autre challenge excitant m'attendait ce mois-ci... et bien, ca commence ce weekend! Je vais suivre un stage de stylisme avec Lotta Agaton à Beckmans Akademi à Stockholm! Pendant deux weekends, Lotta va partager son savoir-faire avec nous, et je sais déjà que ca va être génial :)

I told you some time ago that another exciting and challenging thing was waiting for me this month... well, it's starting this weekend! I will be attending Lotta Agaton's styling class at Beckmans Akademi in Stockholm! During two weekends Lotta will share her knowledge with us, and I already know that it will be brilliant :)

La maison de Therese Sennerholt, la reine des citations graphiques, est déjà partout sur la blogosphère scandinave, mais je n'ai pas pu résister... Un intérieur tout en noir & blanc qui n'est pas stérile pour autant, bien au contraire! J'adore.

The home of Therese Sennerholt, the queen of graphic quotes, is already all over the Scandinavian blogosphere, but I couldn't resist... An all black & white interior that still doesn't feel the least bit sterile, on the contrary! I love this.

Meet the Blogger

Le weekend dernier j'avais donc participé à Meet the Blogger, un évènement qui a réuni des bloggeurs venant de tout l'Europe à l'hotel Scandic Grand Central à Stockholm. Pendant deux jours, nous avons écouté des présentations, participé aux ateliers et visité des magasins de déco. Honnêtement, je n'ai pas appris énormément de choses, mais j'ai tout de même ramené quelques bonnes idées et astuces. Le point fort du weekend était définitivement de rencontrer les autres bloggeurs. C'est fantastique de finalement voir ces personnes que l'on a seulement connues sur internet avant, puis de passer des moments aussi sympa ensemble!
(et malheureusement, je n'ai que quelques photos de téléphone portable pourries à vous montrer...)

So last weekend I participated in Meet the Blogger, an event that gathered bloggers from all over Europe at the Scandic Grand Central in Stockholm. During two days we listened to presentations, participated in workshops and visited interior design shops. I honestly didn't learn that much, but I did take a few good ideas and tips with me back home. The highlight of the weekend was definitely meeting up with the other bloggers. It's fantastic to finally meet people you've only known over the internet before and then spend such great moments together!
(and unfortunately I only have some lousy mobile photos to show you...)
