A broken wrist and a chocolate factory...

Parfois les choses ne se passent pas tout à fait comme prévu... Comme la semaine dernière, où j'ai pris quelques jours pour aller faire du ski de fond dans les Vosges avec mon fils. Je n'avais pas vraiment prévu de me casser le poignet et terminer la semaine dans un bloc opératoire. Maintenant j'ai une broche et trois clous en titane dans mon poignet... Heureusement c'était la main gauche, ce qui me permet encore de manipuler une souris, même si taper sur le clavier avec une seule main n'est pas très rapide :-/

Sometimes things don't turn out exactly the way they were meant too... Like last week, when I took a couple of days off to go cross country skiing with my son in the Vosges area in northeast France. I hadn't exactly planned to break my wrist and end the week in an OR. Now I have a metal rod and three nails in my wrist... Luckily it's the left hand which means I can still handle a mouse, although typing with only one hand takes a looong time :-/

J'ai encore des photos de mon voyage à Stockholm à vous montrer, mais en attendant, voici des images du dernier projet de Oscar Properties. Cette fois-ci il s'agit d'une ancienne usine de chocolat en plein centre de Stockholm qui sera transformée en appartements fabuleux. Voilà, rêvons un peu pour bien commencer le weekend!

Le cinéma

Je passerai bien mon lundi ici, pas vous?

I'd love to spend my Monday here, wouldn't you?

D'ailleurs, je pourrais facilement passer tous les autres jours de la semaine aussi dans cet appartement... La reconversion de cet ancien cinéma dans le centre de Stockholm promet d'être aussi fabuleux que les autres projets d'Oscar Properties.

Actually, I could easily spend all the other days of the week too in this flat... The reconversion of this former cinema in the center of Stockholm looks just as fabulous as the other projects by Oscar Properties.

Et compte tenu des origines du bâtiment, les résidents auront bien évidemment leur propre salle de cinéma!

And considering the building's origins, the dwellers will obviously have their own cinema!

Le bois façon finlandaise

En feuilletant la galerie de photos sur Scandinavian Deko ce matin, j'ai été frappée par la manière dont les finlandais utilise avec brio le bois dans leurs intérieurs (bon, je le savais déjà, mais là ça devenait une évidence...). Alors voici plein d'exemples trouvés dans la galerie!
Un autre joli exemple est la rénovation que Minna du Time of the Aquarius est en train de faire dans leur cabanon récemment acquis, allez voir sur son blog ici.

As I was browsing through Scandinavian Deko's photo gallery this morning, I was struck by how brilliantly the Finnish use wood in their interiors (well I knew that before, but right then it just became so obvious...). So here comes a whole lot of exemples found in the gallery!
